About Asana Mama Yoga: Grounded Wellness for Moms and Moms-to-Be

Hello, I’m Jennifer,  mama of three, prenatal yoga instructor, former early childhood educator, and founder of Asana Mama Yoga.

My journey through motherhood has been filled with incredible joy, challenges, and deep learning. Like many mamas, I have experienced moments of overwhelm, self-doubt, and the constant balancing act between caring for my children and nurturing myself. It was through this journey that I realized how essential it is for mothers to have a safe, supportive space dedicated to their wellness, body, mind, and spirit.

My Personal Story

Before becoming a mother, I worked as an early childhood educator, nurturing young children and learning about the profound impact of early experiences on development. When I became a mom, everything shifted. The theories and knowledge I had didn’t always prepare me for the emotional rollercoaster and physical demands of motherhood. I found myself craving more than just care for my children, I needed care for myself.

During my pregnancies and postpartum phases, I sought out yoga and meditation as ways to ground myself, but I often felt traditional classes didn’t quite meet the unique needs of moms like me. I wanted something gentle, inclusive, and nurturing, something that honored the real, raw experiences of motherhood.

That longing sparked the creation of Asana Mama Yoga. Here, I blend my background in early childhood education with mindful yoga and wellness practices tailored specifically for mothers and moms-to-be. This space is designed to support you not only physically but emotionally and spiritually as well.

Asana Mama Yoga is more than just a yoga studio. It’s a wellness sanctuary where moms and moms-to-be can find gentle movement, guided meditation, and nurturing tools designed to honor the beautiful complexity of motherhood. Whether you are navigating pregnancy, postpartum, or the everyday joys and struggles of parenting, my goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, find calm amidst the chaos, and embrace your journey with compassion.

Thank you for being here. I’m honored to walk alongside you on this path.
